Background:
We are currently in a phase of high growth and looking to build out our digital team to enable us to focus on strategic areas of opportunity for the business. We are hiring for a role as Digital Team Lead, who would primarily work with the digital marketing team and tier 1 clients but also in tandem with our production team.
We are in a unique position in that we offer our clients digital solutions across creative, content and performance marketing. We ultimately want to be best in class in digital marketing services, become indispensable partners to our clients and grow on an international level.
Role Overview:
This candidate would have overall responsibility for our key digital clients being serviced to the highest standard across all their projects with us. They would help shape client strategy, foster strong relationships at a leadership level, enabling us to drive growth and build sustainable partnerships.
Whilst this person wouldn’t be building campaigns, they would need a strong knowledge of the paid digital media landscape both from a performance and brand perspective. This person would lead our Digital Team whilst working closely with other leadership functions in the business.
An exciting element of this role is that the candidate will effectively be the first person to take up this role within 53Six. They will be able to carve out what the role develops into and establish processes and ways of working within the team. We see this role being involved in new business as well as developing existing client relationships.
Role Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for servicing and growing key clients
Help to drive the strategy of the digital team
People management of the digital account team and creatives
Build relationships at a leadership level with our partners & clients
Oversee all the work that we are doing for key clients, ensuring everything is running smoothly -- to time and budget
Be heavily involved and help to drive overall client digital strategy from organic to paid campaign
Have a deep understanding of our job margin/profitability and adapt accordingly
Identify new business opportunities (primarily existing but also potential clients)
Work closely with production team on key clients who bridge both services
Work with the team to establish new processes and procedures that will help us work more effectively as we grow
Strategically consider market trends and help to shape our digital offering accordingly
Some occasional travel to UK & other markets required
The Candidate:
6+ years experience working for a digital agency (or brand side)
Track record of delivering top class service for big brands and growing accounts
Strategic mindset both at a team and client level
Project management expertise across multiple functions, including financial management
Ambitious and driven to have impact
An interest in sport is a distinct advantage
3+ years of people management experience
Comfortable managing team members across different functions (eg campaign, creative)
Comfortable working across multiple clients and projects - extremely organised
Has worked extensively across digital media campaigns; both on brand and performance campaigns
Deep understanding of paid media landscape
Good working knowledge of traditional media
